Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care Opens New Office at Cowles Clinic in Lake OconeeGeorgia Center for Total Cancer Care (GCTCC) continues to grow and expand with the addition of a new office at the Cowles Clinic in the Lake Oconee community of Greensboro, Georgia. There are currently three other GCTCC offices in Blairsville, Hawkinsville, and Macon, with another planned to open in Lawrenceville this year.
The 11,000 square foot facility offers Lake Oconee residents access to medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, genetic counseling, and a fully-equipped pharmacy, as well as wellness services including nutritional and weight-loss counseling and family/individual counseling. The facility also includes an on-site auditorium available for community education events.
“Patients undergoing treatment for cancer receive care and services which often take them to many locations, several days of the week,” said Dr. Bruce Feinberg, CEO of Georgia Cancer Specialists, who along with Atlanta Oncology Associates (AOA), are founding partners of GCTCC.
“Complete oncology care requires so much more than just a physician’s office. Our vision is to create comprehensive cancer treatment super centers that meet the total needs of cancer patients in one location.”
Dr. Dale McCord, President of AOA, agrees.
“We look forward to the close working relationship that the building will allow between multi-specialty groups,” said Dr. McCord. “It will improve our ability to provide quality cancer care to patients in the Lake Oconee community.”
GCTCC at Cowles Clinic is located at 1000 Cowles Clinic Way, Magnolia Building, Greensboro, Georgia. The phone number is (706) 454-0159.
